Tracey Boards to sponsor Friday Night Social

Another date has been added to the Player Championship event as Tracey Boards has stepped in to sponsor a Friday Night social (on June 3rd).
The social will also take place at the Wilmot Recreation Complex and be open to all players.
The informal night will allow everyone to play as many or as few crokinole games as they wish, and to meet and socialize with their fellow competitors.
Planning Underway

Since it was announced that the World Crokinole Championships would not run in 2022, planning has been underway between a group of players looking fill the gap on the crokinole calendar, and fill the void for a high-calibre crokinole tournament.
Looking to create an event with similar prestige as the World Championships, the idea of the NCA Players Championship was born. The full day event will include both doubles and singles competition.
The event will take place on Saturday June 4th, 2022 at the Wilmot Recreation Complex in the Community Centre Hall.
There will be no separate categories for recreational or youth. Instead all players will compete in one category.
The full tournament schedule will be released in the near future and feature doubles competition in the morning, followed by singles in the afternoon.
With a top prize of $1000 the event will feature some of the best players from the NCA Tour along with many aspiring contenders to fight for the title of this prestigious event.
Registration is limited and is expected to sell out, so players are encouraged to sign up quickly. All registration is taking place online.
