2010-2011 NCA Tour Points Model

Competitors earn ranking points at each NCA-sanctioned event throughout the Tour season, with their 4 best Competitive scores (2 in the Recreational division) accumulating to determine their Tour ranking.
In doubles events, both players in a team individually earn the full points for their respective finish.
This points model was used for the 2010-2011 season.
The points awarded for each tournament placement are determined by the Points Model below.

Other Notes

1) In the absence of 3rd-place matches, 3rd and 4th place will be assigned by the semifinal loser with the higher ranking from the previous round.
2) In each event Pool B winners receive 2 bonus points, with Pool B runner-ups receive 1 bonus point.
3) Note that while the NCA does not regulate individual tournaments on who is allowed to play in competitive or recreational divisions, individuals are only allowed to win the NCA Recreational Tour title once.
